A Week About Life In City

In This Busy City

Though with city’s loud horns
You keep me quiet with your silent songs
I know you mean it
When you keep my lights lit
When this darkness in my life
Cloud me with fear and doubts

Manila By Night

I crawl out of bed
Knowing you’ll be there
Waiting and always prepared
To give me all the love and care
Fill my every emptiness
Cuddle me in your cozy nest

I cry but you hold me tight
I sigh then you make a smile
That’s when I will realize
That everything’s gonna be all right
And that you’ll be here with me
No matter happens before this busy city

A Week About Eternal Love

Oh no I will not be talking about those love’s definition and cheesy love experiences. It was just I can’t think of better title of this post so I ended up typing those overrated 4-letter word.

Anyway, I was just cleaning up my stuff in my room and just reading through the old newspapers I’ve stacked up under my bed for some few years now. (I know I’m one filthy guy stacking those trash and leaving them rot for years). Also, it’s not that I read newspapers periodically like some of old guys do that it would end up mountainous under my bed.

So, I incidentally read this one old (some 2007 I think) beautiful article about archaeologists new dig discoveries of prehistoric bones in hugging position at Rome which they called “eternal hug”. Well, since I love reading stories, I thought how could I missed this one from my own stacked newspapers.

While I repeatedly playing this one new song from Plain White T’s entitled “1,2,3,4″, I ended up inspired to make a poem about it but too lazy to finish it and post for this week’s post. That I decided to post about this article instead to recollect you guys about this one rare discovery.

"Eternal Hug"

"Eternal Hug"

The scientist said that it was buried some 5,000 – 6,000 years ago so it was like in the stone-age era. They also emphasized that they maybe a young couple provided with their teeth intact.

Just what the scientist’s statement about the discovery, Luca Bondioli, “it does highlight how the relationship people have with each other and with death has not changed much from the period in which humanity first settled in villages, learning to farm the land and tame animals”. This sure got me thinking that Italy sure have the reputation for one old true love and romance.

Oww I nearly forgot. I should be making my own “I Heart V7N” artwork. Forgive me Cricket, I’m a lazy one.

A Week For Wrong Impressions

Wrong Impression

I see it as a fly
Annoyance hit me and sigh
Filthy, dirty shooing around

Thus, pound it in the air hard

The thing dropped through wall
I check and touched my soul
A tiny fairy dead
Tears in my eyes start to shed

Poor thing deserves mercy
Scoop my hand, lift it easy
Pray sorry with regret
Hoped to return its breath

Naïve, I say was I
To suspect the thing as fly
Wooing me to hold my step
Stopped me to fall on death

A peril of pit set before me
Deep hole, dark and deadly
I pray thanks for what it did
Whilst I deserved none of it…
