In This Busy City

Though with city’s loud horns
You keep me quiet with your silent songs
I know you mean it
When you keep my lights lit
When this darkness in my life
Cloud me with fear and doubts

I crawl out of bed
Knowing you’ll be there
Waiting and always prepared
To give me all the love and care
Fill my every emptiness
Cuddle me in your cozy nest

I cry but you hold me tight
I sigh then you make a smile
That’s when I will realize
That everything’s gonna be all right
And that you’ll be here with me
No matter happens before this busy city

Say, we are all but in a living progress after all. Even though we call ourselves, by age most-of-the-time, as adults, we can’t really say we’re that mature. To tell you guys, I’m currently in another transition of growing up as an adult or as I call it maturing. It’s really testing my guts to prove I can get through it.

Failures, loss, challenges and most of the time – heartbreaks are the common signs of it. As I watched movies or read books about drama and life lessons, I find it simple to understand in another persons perspective but not if you’re on it really. You see, if you’re on it you can’t really think straight.

I can’t tell you my own problems since it my own principle in life – to learn myself is to go through it on my own. However I want to tell you guys about it for you to keep track of me as a person and how am I in this living progress.

Can’t blog much yet since I’m still looking forward to have a new PC and an internet connection.

Thanks for reading my life guys. Till next post…

Oh no I will not be talking about those love’s definition and cheesy love experiences. It was just I can’t think of better title of this post so I ended up typing those overrated 4-letter word.

Anyway, I was just cleaning up my stuff in my room and just reading through the old newspapers I’ve stacked up under my bed for some few years now. (I know I’m one filthy guy stacking those trash and leaving them rot for years). Also, it’s not that I read newspapers periodically like some of old guys do that it would end up mountainous under my bed.

So, I incidentally read this one old (some 2007 I think) beautiful article about archaeologists new dig discoveries of prehistoric bones in hugging position at Rome which they called “eternal hug”. Well, since I love reading stories, I thought how could I missed this one from my own stacked newspapers.

While I repeatedly playing this one new song from Plain White T’s entitled “1,2,3,4″, I ended up inspired to make a poem about it but too lazy to finish it and post for this week’s post. That I decided to post about this article instead to recollect you guys about this one rare discovery.

"Eternal Hug"

The scientist said that it was buried some 5,000 – 6,000 years ago so it was like in the stone-age era. They also emphasized that they maybe a young couple provided with their teeth intact.

Just what the scientist’s statement about the discovery, Luca Bondioli, “it does highlight how the relationship people have with each other and with death has not changed much from the period in which humanity first settled in villages, learning to farm the land and tame animals”. This sure got me thinking that Italy sure have the reputation for one old true love and romance.

Oww I nearly forgot. I should be making my own “I Heart V7N” artwork. Forgive me Cricket, I’m a lazy one.

As a working individual, I can’t really tell which of my works demands the greater time or effort neither which of them pays as much. But in the end, I realize all of them are important both for my line of job and for my development as a career guy.

***

Before hand, I want to congratulate all the Filipinos who supported the legendary Pacman during his fight against the English “Hitman” Hatton knocking him down twice consecutively during the first round and finally beating him unconscious at the second. He’s been a genuine Filipino pride as he conquer the world of boxing sports and entertainment. This opportunity to be known worldwide in the art of sports particularly boxing emphasized our effort to contribute in uniting the world through sportsmanship.

***

Speaking of competition opportunity, as I recently joined the group of staff in WebmasterServe Forum, we were told to promote an SEO Contest to be held sooner within this month. That’s why I gradually invite both Junior and Expert SEO to join our forum and challenge your SEO skill to win that generous amount.

Wow! It’s been a long time since my last post. I apologize to all you guys who expected something from me. I think being just focus with work and my other blogs can leave you struggling for a time for your personal blog. Also, sharing your own day-to-day events can be too hazy whilst making lazy honestly. But hey, I managed to post now.

I call this post as a restart since we’re now at a new year and age for history and I’m certain that all we can do is to make new beginnings. From the biggest downfall from the world economy to scandals, war threats and most specially this Global Warming issue again. I bet, people are becoming hopeless that the Earth could last till 22nd Century. I say, whatever happens, Earth or it’s civilization will sure last forever regardless of any deviation that might come.

What we should always remember that we can actually survive as long as we are prepared for each changes that both our planet and our civilization drives us into. Because change is always inevitable.

This is one short post but I promise to publish a good long story one next week so just check it out. Keep posted you guys cause I’m back for good. Have a nice weekend!

I wrote this short essay for him to recollect about something we’ll mourn to and somehow regrets for us not to have him for long.

My Best Friend’s Last Resort

“Life is what we make it… and death is what will end it.”

“I nid rst…” was the last text message sent by my best friend Elmer to his famiily via his mobile phone. Little did they know that he had this deep remorse and depression kept to himself that made him decide to commit suicide. Imagine how young he was to die in this world, he is my childhood best friend.

I still have no idea what was bugging him the past few says. Neither his family have no specification of his sufferings. The happy and jolly type Elmer was long gone and never gave us the hint of his dilemmas. Should we gave him the last inspiration and motivation to go on with his life was to no avail because we’re too busy about ourselves. I realized, we are somehow to be blamed of his choosing for this terrible wrong decision.

This post is for the Memory of Elmer Bernarte, a best friend, brother and son.

The last time I checked it’s only less than 20 days to go and I’m still out of gifts I promised myself to provide for the special persons I love. But I hope I can shop some this weekend since I just got my pay for this month.

Though Christmas Season is already experienced in our place at the start of September, still it becomes more apparent when December days have started. Counting down through the day of Jesus Christ’s Birthday is more sensible in that way especially when it’s “Simbang Gabi” days. Do you attend Daily or Nightly Christmas Mass also?

Christmas celebration is always nostalgic and a kind of de javu for me. Whenever I hear the music like Christmas In Our Hearts, A Perfect Christmas by Jose Mari Chan or even the Jingle Bell song, I always remember or re-feel through my veins the old days of my younger years when we used to have kiddy Christmas Parties and programs in my prep and elementary school. The fun and excitement that we always cherished as the family reunites and share the moment of Christmas Joy.

Now that it’s getting near again, the childish dream and excitement comes back to me as I watch and hear the Christmas holiday in the air. Regardless of how and what God gave to us, I always believe that those are for our own good. Agree?

Say, if you read my story about the blessing in disguise given to us entitled Crises Sometimes Are Beneficial, you can understand truly what I mean about it. I’m always positive in life about all the trials and failure I experienced through my life that’s why I become a stronger person. Likewise, it’s always a must that you actually learned from them and changes you for good.

Since my activity are mostly with online forum chatting and topic discussions, I lately got stumbled mostly with their new thread post about Thanks Giving. I was really happy reading their own views about thanksgiving besides the turkey feast and family reunions.

All in all, I have nothing to tell more story this week since it’s just a way of recollection and self-reflection. Belated Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

The new learning that pour on to me to this new and hectic kind of place are more than a single session at college class can provide. The reality of living in a work driven life is way too far from easy-go-lucky to face-your-book life during my college days.

This realization somehow reflects some mixed emotion for me. Does this means I’m entering the pure adult life? Does this mean I’m more like a serious man already and forgot about my games, my plays as a youth? Do I really have to think about choices and make firm decision on my own?

With working myself hard to earn my own revenues for personal and future spendings, I’m quite sure it does. Though I’m yet irresponsible with money, at least I know that I worked for it than asking from my past sponsors which was my parents, naturally. But about my usual funs and plays, I doubt I would give it up since I found out that “An adult life without fun is actually no fun at all”, obviously.

I always makes choices ever since, so having harder option picks are part of being a matured and responsible individual.
